Print Spooler service terminated unexpectedly – Error 7034 – Windows 7

If you Print Spooler stops regularly; you may find this error in the Event Viewer

Firstly; go to your Devices and Printers and remove all printers that you do not use or are error prone.

Secondly go to c:windowssystem32spoolPRINTERS and delete and files

Thirdly under registry; Run – Regdit

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlPrintEnvironmentsWindows NT x86Drivers or  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlPrintEnvironmentsWindows x64Drivers

  • Under Folder Version 2 or 3; you will find list of print drivers; Remove all those you do not use

AutoComplete not working – Outlook 2010

Outlook 2010 – Suggested Contacts Not Appearing for new email messages

Reset the Auto-Complete Cache from File – Options – Mail  (Empty Auto-Complete List)

As an alternative, you can start Outlook with the cleanautocompletecache switch. Windows XP

  • Start-> Run; outlook.exe /cleanautocompletecache
  • Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8
    Start-> Type; outlook.exe /cleanautocompletecache

In addition, you could manually clean up the RoamCache folder when Outlook is closed.

  • Windows XP
    C:Documents and Settings%username%Local SettingsApplication DataMicrosoftOutlookRoadmCache
  • Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8
    C:Users%username%AppDataLocalMicrosoftOutlookRoamCache

Filling the Auto-Complete cache with Contacts and Suggested Contacts

Once you’ve reset the Auto-Complete Cache, you can fill it again with contacts from your Contacts and Suggested Contacts folder in the following way;

  1. Place Outlook in Offline Mode by clicking on the “Work Offline” button on the Send/Receive tab.
  2. Create a new email.
  3. Click on the To… button.
  4. Select all the addresses from the Contacts folder
  5. Click on the To-> button
  6. Repeat step 4 and 5 for contacts stored in other locations which you can select by clicking on the list under Address Book.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Send the message.
  9. Move the message from your Outbox folder back to your Draft folder.

Remove Factory Default McAfee from your Lenovo Laptop

You can remove McAfee from the control panel – Add or remove programs – Right click on McAfee – uninstall.

Convert FAT32 to NTFS without formatting or losing data

1) Go to Computer, and note the name of the drive whose file system you wish to convert.
2) Click on Start.
3) Type cmd in the search bar if you use Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows Vista. If you use Windows XP, click on Run and then execute cmd.
4) Execute “chkdsk h: /f ” (without quotes) where H is the letter of the drive to undergo conversion. This checks the drive for errors and fixes them automatically.
5) Execute “Convert H: /FS:NTFS” (without quotes). H is again the letter of the drive to be converted.
6) The command prompt will start the conversion process and after a few minutes, CMD will say that conversion was successful.
7) You can check it in the properties of the drive through right click<Properties.

Recover Deleted Items from Outlook – Exchange Setup

  1. Start Registry Editor.
  2. Locate and then click the following subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftExchangeClientOptions
  3. On the Edit menu, click Add Value, and then add the following registry value:

    Value name: DumpsterAlwaysOn
    Data type: DWORD
    Value data: 1

  4. Close Registry Editor.
  5. Open Outlook – Tools – Recover Deleted Items
