Stopping Bing Page from popping up on Windows 8

Are you a Windows 8 user? Do you have the Bing page popping up (on your default browser) each time you log on to your Desktop or Laptop? Well then, there is a way to stop the page from opening

1-      Open Regedit (as Administrator) and go to the following entry “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet\EnableActiveProbing”.

2-      Change the value from “1” to “0”.

3-      Close the window and restart your Desktop or Laptop.
